The Unfolding

They called it the Grand Gallery, a tunnel, not carved by human hands... The rock had somehow been softened, not cut, as if by resonance, not tools... Inside the chamber were artifacts, tables that glowed when touched, a holographic sky map showing earth and constellations never documented... Some say, another solar system entirely, then came the real discovery, a large stone chair, humanoid in shape, designed for someone at least three meters tall, and in front of it, a control panel, still pulsing... A strange field surrounded the entire room, one operative who entered, never came out...
