The Signal

Prometheus, the Titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to mankind, a hero, a rebel, a thief.. But what if it wasn't fire?.

Ancient Echoes

An ancient Greek fire didn't always mean flames, it meant power, illumination, knowledge... Prometheus gave humans the spark of advancement and the gods punished him for it... According to the myth, Zeus ordered him bound for eternity... His liver devoured each day only to regenerate, but looked deeper... The liver was the seat of divination in ancient cultures... The part of the body believed to store truth..

The Unfolding

Prometheus wasn't just punished, he was silenced, his body was turned into a warning... So who was he really?.. Some researchers believe Prometheus may represent an ancient figure, a teacher or being who gave humanity access to forbidden knowledge... Not magic, not myth, but technology... After the gift of fire, humanity leapt forward, metalworking, agriculture, language systems, as if something accelerated... And here's the strange part, the oldest legends of Prometheus don't come from Greece... They echo older myths, from sumer, from Armenia, from even further east... Across cultures, one figure returns again and again, the one who defied higher beings to bring knowledge to humans and paid the price... So was Prometheus a God, a metaphor or a memory preserved imperfectly across time?.

The Question

We'll never know for sure, but maybe we were given something long ago, something we weren't meant to keep.
