The Discovery

The map is not the territory... Alfred Korzybski... What you believe is real is often just representation... Words are not truth... Photos are not people... News is not reality... The system gave you a map and told you to never question what lies underneath... You don't see the world... You see a model of the world, constructed from assumptions, labels, biases, rules... The danger?.. You start to worship the map..

The Unfolding

You stop exploring the territory... You think success is a salary... That love is a contract... That intelligence is a certificate... You follow the route, even when it leads you in circles... Re-calculating... The road ahead loops endlessly... And if the map is wrong, the system doesn't correct it... It just updates it with new illusions... Freedom doesn't lie in the lines... It lies in stepping off the page, feeling the dirt, tasting the air, getting lost on purpose..

The Question

Because the map may be safer, cleaner, familiar, but the territory that's where truth still breathes.
