Ancient Echoes

What if it's a device?.. Across ancient myth, the moon isn't just a light... It's a character, a being, sometimes male, sometimes female, but always present, always knowing... The Zulu of South Africa say the moon was brought here, hollow, constructed by two sky beings... Some Hopi elders claim the moon didn't always exist, that it arrived after the first world ended... Even science agrees, the moon is strange, its orbit is too perfect, it's density, too low... Its size, distance, and rotation just happen to allow total solar eclipses..

The Unfolding

In 1969, Apollo astronauts reported strange echoes, knocking sounds, and seismic data that made the moon ring like a bell... So what is it?.. A base, a vault, a signal relay?.. The Sumerians called it sin, the source of divine knowledge, and some gnostic texts describe the moon as the first veil... The outer boundary of the simulation... In the Book of Enoch, watchers fall from the sky after the moon records their actions, as if the moon is not just a light, but a witness... Is it conscious or a relic, still working or waiting?.
